Over the course of fifteen years the interior designer Sarah Lavoine has become a true ambassador of Parisian taste.
This inspired artist whose name embodies the French art of living redesigned the decor of the homeware department of the Printemps Haussmann store in Paris, created an exclusive collection of furniture with La Redoute, opened several boutiques and wrote the book “Ainsi Soit Style, les Secrets du Chic Parisien”, a style guide published by Editions La Martinière.
The special relationship that this Parisian designer has with the Saint-Honoré district, where she lives, works and finds inspiration, made of her the perfect candidate to conceptualise the soul, the style and the decoration of Le Roch Hotel & Spa.

Together, the designers Patrick Gilles and Dorothée Boissier are the perfect embodiment of French chic. The chic that they convey is even more unique as their respective styles are very different, and therefore perfectly complementary!
Who else other than this inspired couple could bring such an incomparable look to a hotel that truly desired to be original? While the others exploit trends, they seek to go beyond the fashion trends and to offer timeless and unique creations.
The Chess Hotel joins the long list of their prestigious and international credits, which includes the Baccarat Hotel in New York and several Baccarat and Moncler boutiques.

The most famous designer of French lingerie is also the icon of Parisian glamour, voluptuous and even sometimes provocative, but never losing its sense of chic.
For the Vice Versa Hotel, she was the needed mistress of ceremony: inspired and a bit cheeky under her legendary fringe, only she could gather in one place all the facets of the City of Light, including fashion, luxury, gastronomy and art.
Chantal Thomass, who has rehabilitated the basque, garter belt and corset, and invented lace tights, has also conceptualised the decor of an entire hotel, built around a theme that is as subversive as it is universal: the 7 deadly sins.
"The theme has immediately come to my mind: 7 floors, 7 deadly sins! (...) I would naturally be expected to excel on Lust and Gluttony, but the real challenge resided in Avarice and Pride, for example, which are vices that I am less familiar with. I wish you happy sins for sweet nights! "

The architect Vincent Bastie and his cabinet of experts have contributed a great deal to the revival of the Parisian hospitality industry, with which they have been collaborating for nearly 30 years. Over the course of its projects, this prolific team has transformed many of the capital’s establishments, into internationally renowned exemplars of style and fine decor.
Vincent Bastie regularly associates with other professionals, as it was the case with Les Plumes Hotel and Pascale de la Cochetière. It is to her that we owe the theme of the hotel, that pays tribute to the mythical couples of writers of the 19th century.
